Frankie at the age of 28 had been involved with Hong
Kong・s club scene for over 10 years and had gained a high reputation.
During 1998, Frankie joined Club Progressive, an organisation which
involves with events such as Renaissance. This gave Frankie a chance
to play with some of the worlds top DJs including Nigel Dawson, Anthonny
Pappa, Dave Seaman and Park Wilson. During his time in Club Progressive,
he had gained attentions from many clubbers and promoters around Hong
Kong that allowed him to excel even further with his career.
By 2000 Frankie gradually built his own reputation and started organising
small parties under the name ．Mushroom・ bringing along local DJs from
around Hong Kong. Frankie wanted to give Hong Kong・s club scene a push
and to allow local DJs to have a chance to spread their talents.
In 2001 Frankie was asked by Spark to join Groove Entertainment as a
resident DJ. During Frankie・s life in Groove, he had played along with
a lot of worlds top DJs. This includes The Chemical Brother,Fatboy Slim,
Way Out West, John Creamer, Silvio Ecomo, Peace Division, Satoshi Tomiie,
Fergie, Graham Gold, Max Graham and the list goes on forever.
The ones who know Frankie・s sound would describe it as ．deep and progressive・
and a touch of breakbeat. Frankie・s music style is very different from
other DJs. The crowd would immediately know when Frankie is on stage.
The future looks big for Frankie and he is becoming one of the Hong
Kong・s top DJs.
